My Dearest John, It is taken me awhile to write and tell you what a great friend and sister Patricia was to me! She and I could play dolls for 10 hrs and never get tired! There are so many fond memories over 50 years that I could not begin to tell you all of them. She was my confidant! I could talk to her about anything and she always listened! The week we spent together was absolutely wonderful! She was a true champ when it came to my treatments and the daily duties I had to face. I have known her relationship with the Lord and I witnessed it that week! She had no problem praying with strangers! I know she is with the Lord and that gives me comfort. It will take me a life time to get over her passing as I know it will you! But, remember you have me and David to always lean on. We are here for you!!! We love you! Love, Virginia and David

My friend of almost 40 years. We danced, we sang, we loved, we found Jesus together and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, when I cross over, you will be there waiting. Funny how life surprises us. Never dreamed it would happen like this yet the peace I feel, no man could describe. Our long talks about Jesus and His love, for you will now be with Him face to face. Oh the joy, oh the joy. I miss you sweet sister in Christ yet I am thrilled to know where you are and that we will spend eternity together. Until we meet again..............

Uncle Gordon and John, Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have so many fond memories of my cousin--just wish that there could have been more. I like to think that she, Aunt Jessie, Mama, Daddy, Aunt Evelyn and Aunt Lela are all having a good time, laughing and just waiting for all of us to "join the party". What a day of rejoicing that will be!

To All:
I would like to thank everyone in advance for the love and support you all have shown. I may not personnaly know all of you, but I can guarantee that at some point I have heard stories about all of you.
Patricia could not have been more of a mother to me if she had actually given birth to me. She was my daily "go to" person, my advisor, my friend. I will miss our daily talks, and laughs. I could not have survived these last 5 years without her love and support. She has given me advice that only a true mother could. My life now has a huge hole.
Mom, I owe you so much, I wish that I would have had time to repay you. I love you! Amazingly all your prayers are being answered through your passing. I will miss your faith, it fed me and kept me strong. I promised you I would take over and I will. I hope to see you soon. All my love. Shane

John and Uncle Gordon: Patsy had a smile that lit up a room and it was obvious how proud you all were of her. We know you will miss her immeasurably but please find comfort in knowing that her life made a difference to anyone fortunate enough to know her. There is now one more angel in heaven. Much love, Paul and Pam Lewis

Johnny, my dear brother. I am so sorry about Patricia. I know there is nothing I can say or do to make this any better for you but know that I am here for you. If you need anything please don't hesitate to let me know. Patricia was always so sweet. I am so glad that Debbie and I got to visit with you and her a few weeks ago. She was so proud giving us the tour of all your home renovations. I know she didn't have long to enjoy them but I'm glad she had the time she did. Please don't hesistate to call anytime, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you.
Your sister, Kay
