Bill and Patsy mean so much to our daughter Brandi, his niece and she will miss him greatly. He was always so loving, understanding and caring to her needs. So sad to hear of this. Bill was indeed a great instructor and taught me everything I know of properly handling my sidearm, and he always knew how to break the monotony in the classroom with his war stories from way back when, which we always enjoyed. Sarge will be truly missed. He was a Cops "Cop".. I will always remember the first night of the academy in 94 when he asked all of us why we wanted to be cops... Everyone was giving all the politically correct answers. He laughed and said that was all bull... We just wanted to drive fast and carry a gun... Through his instruction, there are many cops out there that go home safe every night...
