Neva was a very dear friend with a heart as big as Texas. She was sparkles, life, laughter, and wisdom all wrapped up in one very special lady. Neva saw the good in everything and everybody. Knowing Neva, she is dancing with angels to ABBA waiting for us to come join her party. Love you, Neva. Farewell Dear Friend. Until we meet again.

This woman was the strongest person I have ever known, she fought off death without fear and Her heart was something that no-one who did not experence her can understand. Kindness is such a Poor word to express how she was but always kind she was. One of my "Other Mothers" who helped raise me in The Old Nieghborhood. Thank you for being one of those whe keep me in a straight line. Love you Neva-Little Thurman

" What a beautiful Lady " I met Neva at the Mamie McFaddin Ward Cancer Center, when I took my Mother for her treatments. Neva had a caring smile and the warmest of hugs...not only for the patient's she met, but us family members too. I feel blessed to have known her.. " Go fly with the Angel's beautiful Lady "

I first knew Neva when I was a little girl, and then years later we became neighbors when she and Jesse moved into our neighborhood on Heritage Lane. Even after all those years she still had that endearing laugh and loving smile! We shared memories from the "old days" and made new ones with new friends, families, and life events! Neva, you will be missed, but will always be a favorite part of the story of my life! I will always smile as I remember you fondly! Zelma (Andrew and Katherine) Milgram
