So very sorry to hear of Nancy's death. Ronnie and I went to school with her. Infact had a very nice visit at our class reunion. Nancy was always a very smart and knowledgable person. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Please except our condolences.

One our Classmates of The Class of 1967...I have know Nancy since grade school at Houston Elementary! Sorry to hear of her passing! Such a dear person, whom I am sure will be missed by all who knew her!

I was shocked when I saw Mrs. Rooney's photo & obituary in today's paper. I remember when Charlie was born, I was one of her journalism students at Beaumont Charlton Pollard High School and was on the staff of the Cougar Connection Newspaper my 11th & 12th grade years (1979-1981). I will always remember us going to UIL competetion for the newspaper in Austin, TX, working late into the night getting the newspapaer copy and design layed out, and what a great time we had. That seems like a lifetime ago. There are things that I learned from her that I value to this very day. I would run into her from time to time and we would talk. Danny and I are so sorry for your loss. When we think of Nancy, we think about her wonderful sense of humor, her kindness and most of all her generosity. She amazed us with her knowledge about so many things. She will be missed tremendously. Those of us who knew her were truly fortunate. We agree, she is probably already organizing everything in heaven. May God bless each of you during one of the most difficult times of your life.
