I remember the first time I met Milton with my grandmother on a trip. He was very friendly and always had some interesting tidbit of information for me. I will miss those tidbits of information and his smile.

There will never be another man like Milton Earl Nicholas! He was good at so many things...cooking, storytelling, handyman, fishing, hunting, fantastic grandfather/great-grandfather, storytelling (in case you didn't know, he liked to tell the same story more than once-smile!). The thing I will miss most about Milton was his contagious smile. He was always laughing and enjoying life. I loved him very much and already miss him. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven. How is the fishing up there PawPaw??? Cecilia Peterson

Betty and family,
From my family to yours, please accept our sincere sympathy upon Milton's passing. I know he will certainly be missed. It's obvious from the photos on the memorial video that he was happiest when surrounded by family. Because of time and distance, I never got to know Milton very well, but when I was around him, he was welcoming and positive. Usually jovial too! When I think back on Milton and you and your family, I will recall Sunday picnics in Terrell Park where Milton and you were usually there. Diane (Cannon ) and I relive those days when we get together - which is too seldom. Those were happy times and that happiness will frame my memories of you and Milton. Our prayers for Milton, you and your family are with you. Peace be with you and God bless. Tony, Myra, Holly & Andy Stewart
