The first church we visited when we moved to the Woodlands in 1988 was Woodlands Parkway Baptist Church. Larry's sermon so touched us that we knew that was where we wanted to belong. We are praying for you and Lana and know that Larry is worshiping the Lord today. Our love to you both,
Wayne & Sue Hill

Mrs. Lindsey,
I am sorry to hear about your husband. What a valiant soul he was. We never met him but, through Rhonda, he became a part of our daily prayers. May you and your family find comfort in Him and in all your loving friends.

Winona, our hearts are so heavy right now. It is so hard to understand God's ways when the heart was the answer to so many prayers. But, we are glad to know he is no longer suffering and he has enjoyed a reunion with his mom and with his Lord and Savior. We consider the days that we served with Larry at WPBC our "honeymoon" experience, and we have not had that kind of pastor since being there. He was a hard act to follow:) Larry will be missed by all, and please know that you and Lana--as well as his family--are in our prayers. We are sorry we couldn't be there Friday, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love you,
Mike & Brenda Sabo

Winona and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss but am comforted by knowing that Brother Larry Lindsey was a man of great faith and at this very moment, he is celebrating with his Savior. Words cannot convey what your ministry meant to me at Central Baptist in Kirbyville. I was about to become a single mom and Brother Larry's wisdom helped to restore my faith. Winona, both you and Larry, helped me through one of my life's darkest hours. Please know that I will continue to pray for you and your family.

Wiona, Lana, and Lance
We are praying for God to provide you with a peace that is beyond our understnading. We will miss Larry so much. We have such fond memories of serving along side him at Woodlands Parkway Baptist. He was such a Godly man and he inspired believers to a true committment to their belief. He challenged me to grow in the word and the faith and I personally (Hallie) will never forget how God used him to help me reach my purpose for life. Lucien and I talk about those days and how our kids were like borthers and sisters. We are all sadden by your loss becasue it is our loss as well.
We love you
Hallie

It is not often in this life that you meet a man like Larry Lindsey. We were blessed not only to meet him, but to have him as our pastor in Bevil Oaks. Larry was a gentle man and a gentleman. How much we admired and loved him. His legacy is the Christ-like life he lived before all of us. He was gracious, humble, soft-spoken, kind, compassionate, sensitive, and a man of the highest integrity and character. He devoted his life to the service of God, his family, and people in general. We are blessed to have known him and to have his memory in our hearts. How thankful we are also for his wife who so faithfully and devotedly took care of him during his illness. Winona has been a rock of strength and an example to us all. To Winona, Lana, Lance, and all Larry’s loved ones, we wish God’s comfort, mercy, and peace.
