We are so glad we were able to meet J.T. and Betty. Being old friends of Nelda's she enabled us to make this connection and we truly felt part of the family and our thoughts are with the rest of the family. J.T. will be missed.

What a good man. Always ready to help others, including myself years ago. My heart goes out to all of you. If there is anything I can do to help you get through this time, please let me know.

JT was closer to my Dad's age than mine, so I wasn't around him much growing up. My earliest recollection of him is from family discussions when he was MIA in WWII. He had an exciting and fulfilling life. I am proud to be his cousin.

We only know J. T. through his sister Irma in Kingwood, but wish we would have known him personally. He sounds like an amazing patriot and family man who lived his life to the fullest.

It was such a blessing to have J.T. tell me about his Military Career when he and Lester came to Twin Lakes to see Mom and Gladys. He also told me of the happy times they shared. I will never forget that day. He was and is such a Christian. May you take comfort in his strength and love of the Lord.

When we gathered in Kountze for the annual family reunion at Thanksgiving, JT always had a positive word of greeting. The loss of husband to Betty and father to Diane, Nelda and Art is grievous, to say nothing of the loss of a grandpa to the grandchildren. There are many wonderful memories of JT for us all, and in time it is those that we will call to mind. Our love an prayers go out to the entire family.

Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it’s the middle that counts the most. J.T. Williams will always be known for living life to it's fullest. Stretching far and wide, he looked through eyes of appreciation, wonder, love and respect. An inspiration through example - how to live life - one day at a time. It's a blessing and my extreme honor remembering the times we shared together.
