Rest in Peace Uncle Paul. It may have been time to leave this life behind but the memories that you have given each and every person that entered in your life will never be forgotten. My memories are full of exciting stories that you would share, crazy tropical shirts you would wear & rides in very cool cars. You lived life to the fullest and inspired so many people along the way, including myself. Thank You for being you.

Donna, My deepest sympathy to you and the children, I am sure you will tell them many great stories of their Daddy so he will always be in their hearts and minds. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time and in the days to come. Love you and wish I was home for you. Sincerely, Janet Kizziah RN (Nederland, Tx)

Paul, you were such a great friend to Elmo and me! Always making us excited about life and giving us a good laugh when we needed it. Your caring about us by always asking how things were going, was a great uplift in our lives. Thanks for making our world so much better. We will miss you so much, but we will always have a little of you around every time we see Ciara and Cyrus!!!

Vickie has so many great memories of working with Paul while she was the Clinical Coordinator of the Respiratory Program at Lamar in the mid '80's. I of course worked with Paul while I was the Director at St. E's. The field of Respiratory Care and Respiratory Education have lost a valuable practitioner and educator. He will be missed. Love to all the family. Vickie & Sam Fleischer

I was so sad to hear about Paul. He was one of the most interesting and intelligent men I have ever had the privilege to learn from and then, later, to work with. The world has lost quite a character in losing Paul and we will not see anyone like him again.
God bless you, his family. You will all be in my prayers.

I thank Paul in my prayers for his devotion to the profession and to the many students he taught. I will always remember him in his tropical shirts, and for his casual and friendly demeanor. Always positive, always approachable, funny and always working. That is the way I remember Paul. God bless his entire family.
