Davee: How can I possibly express my sorrow and sadness at the death of your husband? My deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow goes out to you and your family during these very difficult times. I know you will miss him terribly, and so will many others who had the good fortune of knowing him.

Davee and Family --- I am so grieved as Cousin Bill called to let me know of Will's passing yesterday. I only remember him as a boy, when my family came to Beaumont to visit Marie, Albert & their family when my 3 and Will, John & Mark were all kids. Betty Ann was already a young lady. I wish I could have known him as he grew up; but I always heard the latest about him and your family from Marie and Albert, and from my Dad, Pete Crowell in Austin. He was always so proud of Will's accomplishments, maybe as the son he never had. I wish I could be with you Friday; you and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Joanne

To Will's Family: What a blessing you have had in your life. I've only known Will for 5 years but feel truly blessed to have had that time to know him. I will miss his daily smiles and singing. May you continue to be blessed with his memories and know he is singing with the angels now.

What a great loss. It is apparent from all of the kind words that Will touched many lives especially as a teacher and coach. I will always remember him as my old neighborhood buddy and baseball teammate. He was a fierce competitor and ultimate teammate. It is no surprise to me that he carried his love of sports and people into the classroom and touched the lives of so many. I am thankful that I was able to visit with Will at length by phone last summer. We shared many of the old times from our days growing up together. Will was special and heaven just got a special player added to the roster. My thoughts and prayers go out to Davee and all of Will's family. My you find comfort in all of the kind words from the many who knew this fine man.

God bless. Coach Crowell was a genuine, first class, A+ coach and teacher. He inspired both my children (one now at A & M and one in high school) to be the best they could be, and he did it with such wisdom and compassion. He will be missed. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant... Matthew 25:23

Will Crowell brought a joy for teaching to his job. He brightened our days with songs and jokes. He loved his students. He is sorely missed at C.O. Wilson. My deepest sympathy to your entire family.
