My Sweet, Funny Sister: I miss you so much! I can't believe I just can't call you up and talk. We had become so close toward the end of your life and thought we had plenty of time left to do fun things. I am grieving so much for you. Pam, Tim and Rob and families......I love each of you and I am praying for us to learn to live with our loss. It's gonna be tough......she was "one of a kind." Love, Jill

I was the youngest of us siblings and Joy was the first born. During my college years at Lamar, it was always such a pleasure as a refuge from my studies and work when I would frequently visit with Joy to pass time, have a few laughs and unwind. I fondly remember the parakeets, the smelly monkey, the dogs and all the fun drama that made life interesting and fun at the Bond home. George was such a positive role model for me and I could always depend on Joy for kind and gentile support when life's challenges got a little overwhelming. I will miss you sister!

Pam, I am heartbroken over the loss of Joya. Her smile was contagious and it was always a pleasure seeing her when I worked for Dr. Birdwell. She will be missed and forever in my heart. Please know that you and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss.I knew Mr. and Mrs. Bond from when I worked home health and took care of Mr.Bond.They both were the sweetest people, and I loved everytime I got to see them.I still have a wedding gift Mrs.Bond gave me,because she knew I was getting married.I know that now they are both in a better place, together. They were the sweetest couple together, and were very much still in love,it's something a young couple can look up to.My prayer is with your family at this time.

Aunt Joy has always been a special character in my life. I have such fond and happy memories of visiting Aunt Joy, Uncle George and my cousins. Over the years I have had loving stories to share with my own children. Although we've lost touch over the years due to my family's move out of the country, the connection, love and memories have lasted a lifetime. As others, I know I will truly miss knowing that she's in this life bringing her Joy to others. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joy's family and extended family. I'll be watching for her to light up the heavens.
