Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Rachel and I weren't just cousins, we were friends for life. No matter how far I moved away, we always seemed to keep in touch, letting each other know how much we loved each other.
My first memory of Rachel, was me changing her diapers (I was only four years old) but as we grew up, the memories grew. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to build memories as old ladies.
Sid, Cassi, Shantell, Dillon, Auntie Pat and all our family members, you are in my prayers. May God watch over you and bring peace, allowing you to grieve and heal.

To the Ferguson & Lavender Families
May you find comfort and peace in your many wonderful memories of Rachel. You are all in my prayers.
I went to school with Rachel and have nothing but good memories of her. She was such a delightful person to be around. When I think of Rachel, I remember our times in Freshmen English, when she would always slip me the latest Avon book. She was my very first Avon Lady.
In the poem, "The Dash" by Linda Ellis it states the "dash" between a person beginning and end is what matters most. No matter how short the dash, it's how a person lived their dash. I know Rachel lived her "dash" to the fullest, as it is evident in every photo. May God Bless you all

Cassi and Family,
We are so saddened by your loss. I am praying grace, peace and mercy as you and your family travel this hard road. The video is so precious. It brought back so many memories of your mom and I waiting for our beautiful girls to finish dancing. She's dancing joyfully in Heaven!
