Rachel Claudette Lavender

May the Lord be with all of you. Rachel was such a wonderful person. I went to school with her from 1st grade on. He will comfort all of you through this.

I am sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for you all and I hope you find strength from our heavenly father. Please know that our family has you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sid, Shantell, Dillon, & Cassi and Ms. Pat
Rachel was a very special woman. She always had a smile on her face and never thought of herself, only others.
Especially you all. After years of hearing about her children, you felt like you already knew them. (of course Sid was always at her side so you knew him whether you wanted to or not) LOL! And yes she loved to talk about Sid and what a good husband he was.
You wanted to buy Avon from Rachel whether you needed it or not just so you would find a reason to get to visit with her and hear about "the kids".
Rachel fought the good fight and God's word says in Isaiah:
The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace.

I have so many fun and happy memories of Rachel growing up. She always had a smile on her face. Now she is smiling down from Heaven. I pray for peace and comfort to all of you through this difficult time.

She is an awesome angel. God bless her family. I will love her and miss her always

I am saddened by your loss. As was so many others, I was friends with Rachel in school. She was a lovely person inside and out. She will be missed.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that she will be missed. Remember the good times you had with her.
