I miss you Mom. So much.

Mom, I think about you every day. Thank you for being the person you were. I love you and will never forget. I love you.

Sally will always have a special place in my heart. She was always supportive during my teaching tenure @ Burnett Elementary.

My prayer for you is that God will Bless and Keep your family strong. Keep looking up, God is a healer.

I had the pleasure of working with Sally my first year of teaching at Burnett. I followed her to Fisher because she was such a great principal. She was compassionate, caring, and organized. I'm glad she had a few years to enjoy her retirement; spending time with family and her church work. My heartfelt sympathies go to her family and friends.

"Miss Sally"--I have been so blessed to know you and Miss Sara. My heart is full of joy that you are with our Lord and Savior in Heaven, yet everyone whose life you touched will miss you terribly. With love & prayers for all those who love you dear one.

I didn't know of sally's illness until I read of her death in
the Chronicle. I wish I had been in touch and told her
once more of my gradtitude for her compassion and
assistance when I retired. She and Barbie Plocheck helped
me with what I needed to make the decision to retire during a very difficult time in the life of our family. She was a strong person and brought
order and leadershp to Fisher Elementary as our principal.
I did not see the side of her with her family. I can see now
where her heart was. " Her children rise up and call her
blessed". You can see in the pictures the love and connections
with family, friends and her church family.
Though sally has a twin sister, she was 'one of a kind."

God bless Sally Sherrod. I worked with her at Fisher Elementary in Pasadena, Texas. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was an outstanding leader and ran a tight ship...I liked that about her. My sympathy to her entire family.

First I met Sally when she was a parent and I taught her two wonderful boys. Time went by and the next thing I knew, she came to be my boss at Fisher Elementary. She was a wonderful boss and friend.

Sally hired me her last year at Fisher Elem. I learned a lot from her. I remember when Sara came to visit the school and everyone was confused with the identical sisters. I also remember Sally talking excitedly about her house by the lake. I only knew her for a year, but I know she will be missed by all who loved her.
