Zella Mae lived a beautiful life filled with love for family and friends. She spread happiness wherever she went and left joy in the hearts of all who knew her. Many lives were touched by her loving kindness and gentle manner. She will be sorely missed, but remembered with cheerful graciousness.

Kay and Mike! I am sorry about your mother but Annette and I will be out of town tomorrow and Sunday but we will thank of yall and believe me your mother up until the last day she still knew who I was when we seen each other. Her and mrs. Noble made their self known anywhere they went. Your mother lived a very good life as for as I can tell and I got to know her better after yall had left town. The last time I seen them Pat Duplant and Mary Beth brought them to the casino. When she got out of the car I was the first one that she saw and she gave me a big hug and kiss. (this was about three monthes ago) Annette and I ran into Pat Johnson at IHOP last Saturday. He looks like he is doing alright. We are all getting up there in age and every day waking up with a new ailment. Send me yall e-mail and we will stay in touch.

Zella Mae MacDonald--absolutely one of my heroes from earliest memories of First United Methodist Church in Nederland and the essence of a wonderfully, courageous Christian woman. She and several others are those that made me love walking by myself to Sunday school, VBS, MYF and singing to her piano playing at anytime. Her presence at the evening circle of UMW has been such a blessing to me. Heaven is getting a great one. Many wishes of peace to her family who held her so dear. Linda

Auntie loved me and I loved her. For almost thirty years she supported me in everything...good or bad, happy or sad. When my father died twenty years ago, she comforted me and my mother for all the years that followed. We had many fun times on trips, watching fireworks at the beach, playing cards, and just visiting over coffee. I am so sad, yet so happy to have had her in my life. No there is one more person I can't wait to see when I get to heaven. I love you , Auntie.
