Pat was a terrific person and teacher. He helped many young men get back on the right path with his positive influence and strict discipline. I always admired Pat and remember him best for his wonderful classes and helping the Chisum boys stay on track.

What a guy! Bailed me out of a few fixes in high school. Deepest sympathy to the Morris Family. John 14:2

Pat, You were such a presence in my life growing up because of my close friendship with Melanie. I spent many hours at your home and have many fond memories of those times. You were a friend to me as a child and then teenager and a colleague to me as an adult. I will miss you.

What great memories I have of Pat and Janie as class sponsors and as teachers. These past few years as I returned to Texas, there was always a hug waiting for me from Pat. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Mr. Morris was one of my best teachers at Sour Lake. We stayed in touch over the years and usually ran into each other at reunions and Old Timers day. Mr. Morris was at my sister's visitation several years ago and gave me a picture of me with the desk I made in wood shop (actually, I think Pat built most of it). What a kind and thoughtful person he was.

Pat Morris and his late wife made a tremendous influence on my life. He was an excellent teacher and we all respected him. Pat always made a point to attend our reunions and the other special events. What a wonderful person and a fine example of the type of intelligent and caring individual we all should try to be. I will treasure the memories of him and his teaching methods. Happy journey, teacher, mentor and friend. You will be missed!

Pat
I will miss you and your helpful encouragement during my shop and drafting school days and then as a very good friend. My Mother and Dad (Wilda and James also deceased) also enjoyed your friendship.

Pat Morris was one of my favorite teachers. He had a wonderful personality and I know he will be missed by many.
I remember how he always had a smile on his face. May God Bless all his family in their time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Morris and his friend Don come to my office. He was ALWAYS smiling. I'm didn't know him well while I was in high school so I was really glad to get to know him and visit with him after those years. He willl be surely missed.
