Dr. Shrontzs' reputation always preceeded him, although I never met him personally, I felt like I new him and his beautiful wife through Bonney and Travis Bryan, always keeping me posted on the status of the horses and how they were doing. I know he will forever be here through his loving family his horses and all the ones who loved him.
God Bless you all and give you peace.

Our hearts are heavy with our cousin Carl's death. What a life well lived! Carl pursued his dreams and succeeded! He had fun and worked hard. He connected with people.

We always enjoyed Carl's dry sense of humor, expressed yearly in the Shrontz Christmas letter. Accompanied by his tender handwritten note.

I hope in the afterlife or great beyond, that Carl and his Aunt Vivian and our Uncle Bob are laughing and swapping stories.

The messages from Carl's patients, colleagues and coworkers, and friends are a beautiful tribute to the many lives with whom he connected in his too short time on this Earth.

Laurel, Rachael, Cara, Aunt Mildred, Marian and Fred, and Darrin and Michelle, our condolences on your loss.

With love,

Kathy Peter and family

He was the first doctor I ever saw come into ER and push his own pts to xray and start his own IV's. Actually the only doctor I have ever seen in 26 yrs of nursing. That tells you what a down to earth guy he was. He will be missed!!!!

Dr. Shrontz, wow the memeories that I will have of him, they will last me a life time. He was one of my favorite Physicians to deal with as a Nurse, I had the pleasure to work with him on the Special Care Center At St. Elizabeth Hospital, He was one of the Physicians responsible for making that unit as successful as it was for it now to become now known as Dubois Hospital in St. Elizabeth Hospital. I loved working with him, he had a bright smile and was always bright and cheerful. he was full of a wealth of knowledge. His Patients loved him as well, he was a talented Suregon. There are so many memeries that I have of him and like I said they will last me a life time, Oddly Enough I was just speaking so very fondly of Dr. Shrontz telling a story about him, when within an hour a read a facebook post about his passing, my heart whept, I didnt know he was ill, My heart goes out to His Family He will forever be missed

I only knew Mr. Schrontz through stories that Rachael has told. On those stories alone I know he was an amazing man and father. Rachael and your family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sam

It was such a honor to share my career with Dr. Shrontz. He was such a blessing to so many people. I enjoyed working with him in the OR and he was such a pleasure to work with. He truly was my hero. I will always remember him for what he gave me, and that was knowledge. He loved his family and he was a real hero. Our lives will never be the same for knowing such a wonderful man. May he rest in peace.

I would not be alive today if it were not for the life and dedication of Carl Shrontz. He has always been in my prayers, as his family and close friends are now. I thank God for the gifts that he bestowed upon him and for all those He allowed him to heal.

I first met Dr. Shrontz when I was a nurse in ICU at Baptist. He always had a smile, a kind word, and an interest in teaching others. One could ask him any question without ever feeling stupid for it. He treated others with respect, and went out of his way to speak to others, even the person mopping the floor. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.
