I was so sorry to learn of the death of Dr. Shrontz. I worked as a nurse with him for many years and I know him to be one of the "Great Physicians". My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Laurel and his girls. He always had time for a story about their activities and a smile and a joke for the day! What a privilige to work with such talent. Rest in Peace!

To the family, My deepest thoughts and Prayers are with you. In Sept. 1985 Dr. Shrontz saved my life. He was an Angel sent by God. I have never met a more wonderful Doctor, and person. Your Husband and Dad will always be my Hero. I feel like I lost a family member. When I volunteered at St. E following my brain surgery, I would see him in the halls from time to time. We had many conversations, He always gave the Glory to God. I am saddened by his passing, but I'm comforted knowing that he is with the Lord. God Bless You all. Jerry Stoeppleman, Branson, Mo.

Dr.. Shrontz was a wonderful doctor and a special favorite of my dad, Raymond Bertram. The doctor always bragged to my dad that he was his oldest patient and dad thought that was great. Dr. Strontz will be greatly missed by the citizens of Beaumont - he could do wonderful things for his patients. I thank him for the many times he helped my dad.

Dr Schrontz was a great man and I enjoyed every minute working with him while I was in college. He taught me a lot and I will never forget those memories. I also enjoyed seeing him on Sundays at St. Mark's. Mrs, Schrontz, you and the girls are in my prayers.

Carl and family are in our prayers. Carl was a devout churchman, he was a great doctor who consulted for one of my daughters and we know how much he will be missed.

Carl Schrontz was an excellent surgeon who will be deeply missed by his many patients. He was a good communicator. He took the time to really talk with his patients about what was going on with their health.

Laurel, I am so sorry to hear about Carl. I know it's hard, but he went through a lot and is now in a better place.
I think I only met Carl and saw a few times ever, but I feel like I knew him because of all the stories Marian and Fred told us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I worked with Dr. Shrontz at St.Elizabeth in the mid 80's then left to work at Outpatient Diagnostic Center, now Diagnostic Health. Whenever I saw Dr. Shrontz he always remembered me. My mother also worked for him when he was with Dr. Kubala's group. He would always ask about my mom too. He never forgot each and every patient or person he came in contact with. All of his patients just loved him. I consider it an honor to have worked with such a caring and talented doctor. My prayers go out to all of his family. Caran Lindsey
