Mark Wayne Henderson

Laurie, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. As believers we know that absence from the body means presence with the Lord, but for those who remain, the separation is so very difficult. Be encouraged and know that the SP Class of 1978 will forever hold Mark dear in our hearts.

Sorry to hear about this loss to the world.i will always remember mark as a great person and keep him in my prayers.

Carl, Jerry, and Mark's family,
I am so saddened to hear about Mark's untimely death. Your family has had to deal with too many losses of loved ones at such a young age. I remember where I was when I heard about your dad, and I remember coming to George's funeral. Too much loss too soon.
I remember Jeannette's surprise at being pregnant again, and hoping for a girl. She was very happy to bring home her fourth boy though!! I remember babysitting Mark so she could have Jerry and Steve's Boy Scout meeting in her living room. I also remember the Jeep, the garage apartment, going to church with you guys, Carl and I going to see "Yellow Submarine" on a date!! and George taking me for show and tell when he was in kindergarten. And you guys pulling my dad's car out of the ditch!!
Mark was always tagging along, needing us to supervise him. Spoiled rotten, we'd say! He was always so cute, and then so handsome. I saw him at Penney's in Beaumont LONG ago, he recognized me, and came over to me to say 'Hi'. I was so surprised. I hugged him, and thought "He is so big! And his smile and love for life even bigger." I wondered where that little baby boy had gone. After reading all of these wonderful tributes, I know he went on to be a great man with a loving family and lots of friends.
I miss all of you and those simpler days. I hope to come tomorrow, but if not, know you are all in my thoughts.

What a grand lady you are! I know that I speak for your entire PK 4 class. You and your children are in our thoughts and prayers !!!!! Humza says "hi" to you and that he misses you .

Dear Laurie and family,
I was sad to hear about the loss of Mark. I can remember our younger years visiting all my cousins in Texas and missing so much time in not visiting more often. My dad loved all of you very much also. Our prayers go out to you and let us know if there is anything we can do.

Laurie, Jaycee, and Cory- words cannot express how heartbroken we are for you. We truly feel blessed to have the honor of saying we knew Mark. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything and everything. He loved you all so much! You are in our prayers. Please know that.
