We are so sorry to hear this news. We pray for God to comfort you during this time. You all mean so much to us. We are hear for you in any way you need. We just went through this 6 months ago and understand the sadness.

Veta, My heart is heavy due to your loss. We both know Gaylon is in a better place even though we will miss him. One day you will meet him again. I know he had a good life with you and how happy you made him. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Sincerely Rhonda Minter

I'm so sorry for your loss, I didn't know Gaylon personally, but I hear he was a wonderful father/grandfather. I know he had alot of people that really respected and loved him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this terrible time.

I have known Galen since I started in EMS in the early 80's. I will always remember how professional he was and that I have never seen him without his hat on. Please accept my sympathy to his entire family. The EMS world has lost another of its founding members.

I am so sorry for the loss of Gaylon. He was a great friend for the many years I have known him. He was partner to many medics that began their EMS career at Williams Diamond EMS and Lumberton EMS. On behalf of the members of Lumberton Fire & EMS it is with heavy hearts and our deepest sympathy that we wish to extend our thoughts and prayers for strength, healing and comfort to the family of our long time friend Gaylon.

He served the community and our department with dedication for nearly 15 years and he played a major role in providing emergency services to the citizens of Lumberton.

I am saddened to hear about the loss of Gaylon. He was a great friend, mentor and co-worker. I worked my way through the ranks in EMS with the knowledge and support he and many others were kind enough to share with me. Many times in the "old days" we were the only two people home in the daytime to respond to an emergency and he always treated me as equal never as the young inexperienced kid I actually was. He was also one of the best drivers we ever had. He was the one who was brave enough to teach me to drive "emergency traffic". I will be forever grateful for the time we were able to share and the lives we were able to impact. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us. Please know I am praying for you.
