To the Family of Mr. Brown, my husband and I thought your father/grandfather was one of a kind. They just did not make gentlemen like that anymore, I told my husband. He was a joy to know and I really enjoyed meeting this man. He seemed precious. We laughed from moment we met while my husband and I were looking at tractors and dump trucks! He was really happy in this life and I am sure was embraced fully in the next life. I just wish we could have known him longer. My prayers go out to all of you. God be with you all. The Sam J. Salims

PawPaw Brown i want to thank you for always being there for me. I have had so many great memories with you. It seems like just yesterday i was sitting in your lap and talking to you about how school was going. And i still remember how you would push on my belly and try to guess what kind of food i had eaten that day. Looking back at my childhood i realize that spending the night with you were the times i cherish most. I would give anything to have you back in my arms. I love and miss you so much pawpaw and i know you will be watching over us.

David Pat and Kathy I remember your Dad, who was always a great help to me and Harvey when he was commissioner. But most of all I remember all of you being friends with my three sons, David Paul and Mike Truax. Your Dad will be missed so much just as my boys Dad is still missed. Hang in there....
