Aunt Ruby and family, my prayers are with you all ,I love yal very much, Uncle Melvin was the best, I will never ever forget the life he lived in front of me, his favorite scripture he quoted often I probably heard it a thousand times, "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord", and he did just that. It is such a comfort to know he is walking on streets of gold right now, he fought a good fight and he finished his course, his race is finally won. Thank God for such men in our lives that have set the path before us. Uncle Melvin will be greatly missed. My prayers are with all of you.

May Gods comforting hand be with you all during this time. We know by example the kind of life Bro. Melvin and Sis Ruby has set before us. One that we have learned from and will respect for the rest of our lives. We have felt Bro. Melvin's prayers and been blessed by watching him in worship. He and Sis Ruby will always stand out in our minds as the great warriors for the Gospel. Thank you God for giving us such a great example of how you want your people to live. We will miss Bro. Melvin, but rejoice in our heart for we know he will be dancing in heaven.

Bro. Melvin McDaniel was my best friend and a tremendous Father-in-Law. He was one of the finest Christian men that has ever lived. He might have been many things, but one thing that he never was: A Hypocrite!
