We are gonna miss you, Charlie. You were a wonderful person with a lighthearted personality. Always friendly and caring. I just can't say enough nice things about you. I know your family misses you terribly. Rest in Peace.

I have known Charles since high school days in Mt. Pleasant. He often visited with me when he was in Mt. Pleasant while caring for a relative. He was a leader in creating class reunions for the his class of 1945 and also the adjoining years. He will be missed by me and many others.

May you find the courage to face tomorrow in the love that surrounds you today. At this time of sorrow may these truths sustain you.....your loved one will always be as close as a memory and the God of all comfort is always as close as a prayer. It will be the little things that you will remember the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memory of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. I have known the Glass family virtually all of my life having grown up with them in the Church of Christ on N.Jefferson St., in Mt. Pleasant. Charlie has always been good to tell me of happenings in the last few years. Roy

I'm deeply saddened by the death of an old high school classmate.

To the family:
Charles & I have many fond memories from our High School days in Mt. Pleasant. I will miss his pleasant smile & his empathic manner. The remnant of the graduating class of 1945 will soon follow.

Charles was a classmate of mine in Mt Pleasant Tx, class of 1945.
We worked together to have a class reunion every year. He was the prime mover in getting this started and will be greatly missed. He was a great guy and friend.
