I will always remember hunting, playing dominoes and drinking coffee with Dad and Uncle Joe. Sally and I extend our deepest sympathy to Aunt Judy and the family. May Uncle Joe rest in peace.

Words can not ease your sorrow but know that the Lord will take care of you and your family at this difficult time. Uncle Joe was always my favorite "coon ass" and my favorite uncle. I will not be able to attend the service but know that my heart and my thoughts will be there. Take care of my Aunt Judy she will need all of you kids and grandkids to keep her going. PawPaw will be missed by all his family members. We will miss discussing what the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros need to do to win games, how to make delicious BBQ and gumbo.

Liz, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your entire family. I know that loss is hard and words do little to ease the pain. I thought of you several times over the holidays, and even called the office twice to check on your Dad. I know that your wish was to have him with you at Christmas. Even in the sorrow, you can be glad that that particular wish came true.
