I find it hard to refer to him as anything other than Grandpa. My grandpa was one of the most facinating, intelligent, and engaging people I have ever met. Only in recent years had we truly come to know each other more personally but I will treasure those times. I thank him so much for the opportunities he has allowed me and without him I wouldn't have become the person I am today. Love you always Grandpa.

I, too, was a classmate of Bill's at FHS. I will always remember his quiet manner and his kind nature. I am so glad that he returned to Southeast Texas to be with Tom and Linda in Kountze. My prayers are with the two of you and the other family members and friends that share in the loss of Bill. We will miss his presence.

I was a classmate of Bill's at FHS 1962. I also dated Bill my senior year at French. He was a sweetheart. Tommy, you have our deepest sympathy on your loss. I am so glad that he was able to attend our last class reunion and we were able to visit with him. May God give you and your family peace.

I was a classmate of Bill's at French High in Beaumont, and played on the football team with him. I remember Bill as always having a smile on his face and a great laugh and sense of humor. He was just a pleasure to be with and to have as a friend.
We're so sorry for your loss and trust that the warm memories of his life will help in healing the grief you now feel so acutely.

Bill was a quiet man. When he talked, people listened. Bill only had friends. Bill was a thoughtful person. He was a fine fellow and classmate. Anyone that knew him became a better person. He liked a joke, but was a serious man. Bill was a classmate that was never forgotten. He had a brilliant mind.
