Dear Ann, Bill, Nancy, Kevin & Barbara,
Very sorry to hear of the passing of Captain Bill. I have so many fond memories of him growing up in the neighborhood all the way through the years of playing golf with Bill in NH. Somehow I escaped his infamous "woodshed" that Billy & Larry used to visit so often as kids! I guess he just couldn't catch me!! Again, my sympathy to the entire family.

I was blessed to know Mr. Bennett's mother Julia Bennett very well. I grew up next door to John and Rose McDonald (Julia's sister) on Ellis Street in Woburn, MA. I also knew Mr. Bennett's brother Jerry (of Long Island) well. In fact, I considered the McDonalds and Mrs. Bennett to be extended family, not mere neighbors. I recall the McDonalds and Mrs. Bennett making frequent day trips up to Rye, NH (but never stayed overnight!). I think of Julia Bennett often and have such fond memories of her. I will never forget her. It was at her wake and funeral back in 1997 that I saw Mr. Bennett for the last time. I also remember seeing him at Rose McDonald's funeral back around 1987. I remember him as a friendly and kind man. My deepest sympathies to the Bennett family. May he rest in peace. God Bless.

Dear Aunt Ann, Barb, Billy, Nancy and family....so sad to hear about the passing of your husband of so many many years and of your Dad. The last time I saw him he was wrapped in blankets on Rye Beach in New Hampshire. He was very ill at that time but the smile on his face by just being there enjoying the ocean and sitting with his honey, Aunt Ann was a moment I will always remember. Aunt Ann you took such good care of him always!!! His 90th birthday party was also special watching him enjoy having his loving family surround him on his day. He was lucky to have you all for so long! Remember all the fine memories that you have shared over the years when he was full of life and celebrate his memory. My deepest sympathy to you all. May you all remain strong in your time of sorrow. With Love and Care Maura

Our deepest condolences for your loss. I work with Bill Jr. and this office has been vastly ehanced by his skills and unwaverly dedication. I can only assume his great character and work ethic come from a rich upbrining.
