Susie, Shannon, Missy, Colton, and Jake,
I can not even begin to tell you just how sorry I am for what has happened to Kevin. He was one of the greatest men I knew and he was the greatest father. Me and Savannah wish we could be there to say goodbye and we are very sorry that we can't. My heart goes out to all of you. I loved Kevin very much and even though we were getting divorced I still considered him one of my very good friends. I am so happy that he found the love of his life with Missy and I am grateful that she was so good to him and our daughter. I am praying for you all and for Kevin.... Savannah and I both are. She is being so strong and brave, something she got from her Daddy and not me. I promise to make sure she knows just how much he loved her every day and his memory will always live in her. Savannah wants to say: "I love my Daddy and I miss him so much. I am sad that God took him but I know it was because he loved him so much and wanted him to be an angel. I love you Mimi, PawPaw, Missy, Uncle Colton, and Uncle Jake. Don't cry because Daddy is on all our shoulders and in our hearts. I love you and miss you Daddy. "
Love, Savannah Marie McDonald

I only met you briefly but you were always such a gentleman when calling or coming by the office. I believe God always takes the 'good guys' and you were truly one of them.

Kevin was a wonderful man. He was my co-worker. He wasn't just someone that would come and go and never take the time to say hello. He would sit in our office and just chat about anything and everything. He was a true friend. My heart goes out to all of his family that he left behind especially to his fiance Missy that he spoke so much about and his beautiful daughter Savannah that he adored. We miss him dearly, and he will always be in our hearts.
