Una Agnes Guillote

Una will always be a part of my life. She was like a second Mother,I remember sitting at the bar & watching her cook & of course talking my head off. Since i was there & she had cooked I had no choice but to eat. Even after they moved from Ave. A, my Mother & I still visited often. The last time I saw her was just before I moved to Lake Charles. She had a hard time remembering me but after a few mintues she said "Of course she remembered -- Knucklehead--" then laughed, talked about old times like the the trips to Six Flags, Colorado & Wyoming. We laughed about everything from food to funs time on Ave A & all the people we had known. I'm glad I had those good memories to share. She was a good person to all---she was expectantly good to me during me pregnancy. I will always love her for other things but that was very special to me. Sorry I couldnt make it for her funeral but I will remember her as before always laughing & talking. My Prayers are with you both Becky & Page.

Penny - I am so sorry for your loss of your grandmother. At least she is at peacenow and is with God. If there is anything you or your family needs, I hope you know I am always there for you.

We lived down the street from Una and knew her for years. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. May God comfort your family at this time of sorrow!
