I have a wonderful painting of my husband and one of his duck hunting dogs that David painted years ago. My husband has been gone almost two years and I treasure the painting.
I send my condolences to the Drinkard family. Take comfort in knowing his works will continue to bring joy to others.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the passing of David. He was a great supporter for our Buckmasters American Deer Foundation Heart of Texas Chapter in Brownwood. His artwork at our charity banquets helped raise funds and d make dreams come true of a lot of kids with terminal illness. Prayers for his family... we love you all and you are very special to us. So sorry to read the sad news of David's passing. My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. My husband and I first met David when he was in college, and his Dad was my husband's boss. Over the years we acquired several of David's paintings, and then he became a co-worker of mine when he joined the faculty at Warren High School. We have lost a kind, and very talented, man. Prayers for peace during this time of your mourning.
