Geraldine, Harold, Billie and all of Herbert's family: Knowing Herbert is not in Winnie now feels as though there is a hole in our familiar world. We will miss him. Our love and prayers to all, Aunt Bobbie and Debbie

Herbert and I started the first grade together. I can remember going by him on the way to school, me on the bus and him walking. His book bag would be dragging and he barley moving. When school was out he would beat the bus home. We attended a couple of terms at Lamar. Learned to play pool. Herbert even came to Maine a couple of times to visit me. I'm glad my kids got to meet him. He was one of a kind. My condolence to his family.
