Sadly, another Icon of our community has moved on to the ever after. If you referred to her as Ms. Arabie, us locals knew who she was. If she was referred to Ms. Jeanette at Brookshire Brothers, EVERYONE knew her. Prayers to the family. She will be dearly missed.....

I remember Ms. Jeanette from my trips over the years through Brookshire brothers in Kountze. I have many years worth of fond memories of her visiting with my mom (Liz) and my aunt (Ida Nell Wilson).
Another long time member of the Kountze community has gone home to heaven....it won't be the same the next time I go to Brookshire's. God bless you all Misty, David and family. I am praying for you.

So sorry to hear about Jeanette. Our condolences to the family. Delbert and Jeanette were first cousins. Our health does not allow us to come but we will be praying for the family.
