Dear Carol; I met jimmy in 1976. my wife and I finished our golf game and went in the pro-shop and there was jimmy and his dad. We met and he told me it was his first day as the new golf pro.I have been a friend ever since. He gave freely tips on my golf swing even after my knee went bad he showed me how to swing without a hurt. I'm going to miss him but I will always be your friend.....Matt

Thank you Jimmy for just everything you taught me for the times together just you and me on the rang or course making the golf ball talk. I would not be the player and person everyone knows me to be today without you and I'll forever love you with all my heart for that. Till we meet again and I'll think about you every February 1st on our birthday . To the family you are so in my thoughts and prayers and sorry for your loss .

Dear Carol: I was so very sorry to learn of Jimmy's passing. Although I had met Jimmy through you and had not known him very long, it was obvious he was a really a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor. You were very fortunate to have had him as your husband. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are and will continue to be with you throughout this very difficult time.

Jimmy is a loss to our community. I met him through his father and through his sweet brother Allen. My wife and I befriended Allen while I was involved with stadium announcing at TJ, years ago. His father worked in the press box and always brought Allen with him. Through them I was acquainted with Jimmy. To his family, my sincere condolences.
