I have written about golf and golfers for 50 years and will be writing about Jimmy in the Nov. 30 Port Arthur News. Jimmy was one of my all-time favorite golf pros and people. I took my sons to him to get them started in golf and I also took several lessons from him. He was a special guy and a class act who will be sorely missed by golfers in Southeast Texas....Bob West.

So sorry to hear this ππ» Jimmy was a wonderful and Godly man πWould see Jimmy & his wife at St.Jude religiouslyπ Jimmy was a Spiritual, kind , helpful, polite, talented Man and would help anyone. Jimmy was a great professional golfer, he was good for the game of golf, as long as I can remember he was at the golf course playing or teacher. Jimmy will be missed in many ways, the greatest , would be his Faith and Love for JESUS , Wife ,Family ,Church & Golf ππ»ππ»ππ» RIP Jimmy πππ
My deepest sympathy: Rodney Robichau

I knew Jimmy and his family for many years, he not only was a good man he was also a wonderful friend. May the grace and love of God ease your sorrow and pain during your time of loss.
