Mary, Laura and Dan,
I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Though Donna's sister lives around the corner, in Pinewood, I rarely got the chance to travel to Pinewood and visit. May your lives be strengthened in Joe's peace.

Mary, My prayers are with you and your family. I know that Joe loved you from the moment he laid eyes on you. What a wonderful love story! My most vivid memories are of you and Joe at Mt. Carmel HS. Love always, Betty Jean

Dear Aunt Mary, Dan and Laura,
I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
This was a beautifully written remembrance that was true to Uncle Joe. It brought to mind the trips, pictures, and stories he would tell that I still remember fondly.

As his CO in the late 60s when we were both attached to COMPACFLT in Honolulu, I can truthfully say he was an outstanding young officer, the best we had on the Staff. His passing is a great loss to his country, family, and many friends. Warren Taylor Captain, U.S. Navy (Ret.)

Dear Mary,
You and your family are in my prayers at this time of such great sadness. Our stories have been somewhat similar, Mary, beginning with meeting the loves of our lives as we walked the halls of Mount Carmel High School, and now having to give them up. I know your faith, Joe's love and the support of your family will sustain you.

Mary, sorry for your loss. We enjoyed getting to know you and Joe in Alaska and our trips to southern Texas. Joe was a man of many stories.
