I would like to thank everyone who called, visited, helped care for, and offered encouragement and prayers to my dad and our entire family during his journey to eternal life and peace. My sister, brother, and I appreciate very much the outpouring of love.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ron's family at this time. I work at the SBDC in Port Arthur and had the pleasure of knowing him when he worked at the Beaumont office. He was very knowledgeable in his profession. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Ronnie was my "other" Dad and he was so loved by all who knew him. He's at peace and I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that we will all see him again one day. Love you all!

My grandfather was and will always be one of the most important people in my life. As his only granddaughter, I believe I was spoiled rotten by him. I remember all of the stories he would tell, and the pictures he would show me. Especially, his navy pictures. My grandfather and I shared a special bond both being U.S. Navy sailors. I will never forget how proud he was after watching me graduate boot camp, and the first time he got to see me come home from deployment. While these last few years we have spent very much time apart, he got to become something even better than a grandfather. He became a great grandfather to Dylan, and Brayden whom shares his middle name. He had always encouraged me to be the best I can be whether that's a Sailor, Mother, Wife, and an employee. So unfortunately I will not be able to make his funeral service. As it breaks my heart not to attend. I can hear his stern Ronnie Berwick voice in my head telling me to take care of my kids, job, and school. He would always tell me to stay strong and keep pushing forward. Fair winds and following seas shipmate, Paw-Paw. Thank you for your service, your love, and being the best grandpa I could have ever asked for.
