Just learned of this, and my deepest regrets I did not know. I worked with her Dad Jimmy who was one fine Shipfitter, many years ago, and Joan who worked in several offices at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard, Beaumont. Then of course I knew her as a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She always put her heart into everything she aspired to do.

Will miss my sweet friend from WUMC. Joan was a devoted person to Wesley and very committed to maintaining order in the kitchen. She has earned her rest after being ill for so long.
RIP Joan, you were loved by James and I, we will miss you.

Nothing but good memories for Joan. She was the glue that held the 1957 FHS Buffalos together and will be missed.

So very sorry to hear this. Joan was a special school friend for many years. She was a special lady and did so much for our French High school reunions. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for family and friends. Sorry I won't make it to the funeral. Love you all

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it seems to be something we all are accustomed too. Please be assured that the bible promises that God will soon undo death (Revelation 21:3,4) and he promises in John 5:28,29 to resurrect our loved ones right here on earth. I hope these promises as well as your wonderful memories bring you comfort.
