My condolences to Ray's family. He was always a friendly face at GSU in my early days there. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I still repeat some jokes he made about my name. I have never forgotten the fun we all shared as we gathered in the coffee shop at the old Edison building. May his memory comfort you at his passing. He was a joyful human being and remembered fondly by many.

Geri, James, and Madison: May you all find Peace and Comfort in the knowledge that Ray is playing the most beautiful golf course in the Heavens above, while smiling down on you with love and thanks for the care and love you showed him, not only in his whole life, but especially in the last stages of his earthly time with you. May he live forever in your hearts. Hold on to the fond memories and fun times and rejoice in the love he shared with you! Peace be with you all...We love you!

Mrs. Holm and Family, I worked with Ray at Gulf States in the 70s, he was a great boss, kind, funny and easy to work with. I can see him walking over to my desk to tell a joke and his soft voice and laugh. I am sorry for your loss, as someone who has lost a loved one to Alzheimer, I understand your grief at this time. May the Lord be with you and comfort you. Ray will be greatly missed.

Virginia, I have missed you and Ray so much and when I saw this in the paper this morning was totally shocked. You know you have both meant the world to me as I have known you through Ray and Carl working at Gulf States and then through church. Sure have missed seeing you since we went through so much alike with our injuries and surgeries. As long as Ray was coming to church, I always asked about you and asked to come by. He always said it was best not to, but the times I did I surely enjoyed our visits. May God wrap His precious arms around you and give you and your family peace, during this time of bereavement. Ray shall truly be missed by so many. Love always, Jean & Carl
