Charles William Bordelon, Jr.

I have only known Charles briefly this spring by e-mail contacts but I have known of his many accomplishments in the Lepidopterist world for several years.

In my brief association he showed me many kindnesses which I appreciate.

It was 40 years ago we met, both working for the cable company in Longview as very young guys, just a fling of a job, and my did we have some adventures. It's so hard to imagine you no longer there, my dear friend. May wings of angels bear thee to thy rest.

Dear, sweet Charles. You will be missed. Went to school with Charlie at LHS and then worked with him at Longview Cable TV. He was one of a kind. Rest in Peace.

In this time of sorrow, may these promises comfort and support you. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8. Peace be with you, dear family.

It has been so long since I've seen Charles but still the connection would be there I know if I could see him tomorrow . Charles just had a way about him that was all his own , unique style . Charles was just the type of person that could make you smile . Thanks for the smiles Charles . God Bless . My sympathy's to Jayne and his family as you go through these trying days ahead .
