Val was a friend, a great lunch companion, and a loving person. I loved our conversations and her straight forward advise. She had a great sense of humor. My prayers of comfort for her family.

Valerie was a wonderful person with a very outgoing personality. I worked with her for 8 years and she was a joy to know. We ate lunch together along with several other ladies and were called The Golden Girls. We had lots of fun and enjoyed all our time together. I haven't seen her in a while but I will definitely miss her. She loved all her children and grandchildren and was very proud of them. Prayers and comfort for all of them.

Joleain, Bruce, Ben, and Toni, So sorry for your loss. Valerie was so full of life. I enjoyed getting to know Val 18 years ago when I met her when I began working for the hospital. I never can forget when we realized that my children were friends with her grandchildren. She agreed such a small world. I know she will be missed by you all. She was such a great loving and fun person to be around.

Val was a lovely person. Met her when we worked for Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was a friend to all and had an outgoing personality. Enjoyed our many telephone conversations after retirement. She will be missed. Sending our condolences to family and friends .

Jolene, I was so sorry to read Val's name in the paper today. We had lots of good times going dancing. I have thought about her a lot since I retired in 1999. Don't get down that way too often. I live North of Hemphill and it is a 2 hr. drive to Bmt. So sorry for your loss.
