Ms. Pat was definitely one of a kind. She was always a pleasure to work with and she knew how to "break" in new officers the way she wanted them to work.
She took care of everyone on her watch. The way to make her day was bring her an ice cold Pepsi at the beginning of your shift. She will be missed by many.
We pray that the Lord will comfort and console the family during this loss.

To the family, I'm very sorry for your loss. Pat will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, including all of the many officers/deputy's that worked with her for many years. She and I were very close through the years at the S.O. until her retirement but I very rarely seen her after that time and for that I am very sad. We had great times together and I will always cherish the memories we shared especially when we laughed so hard and loud that we were almost kicked out of a restaurant for disturbing other patrons. She was a very special person in my life. I love you Pat. RIP

I met Ms Pat in 1996 when I first joined HCSO.She taught me everything I know and loved about being a dispatcher.A great teacher and friend from day 1.You gave Cody his first taste and love of your famous jalapeno wraps he remebers to this day.You always knew no matter which dept you worked for the officers were her #1 priority. Her Pat lessons are always to be remembered and never forgotten. If you forgot you definitely better have a Pepsi 10-76/10-18 !! Ms Pat you will be greatly missed but never far from our minds. 10-42 Rest in peace. Michelle Winters and Cody Starkie

Please know I have you all in my prayers for peace and to comfort your hurting hearts. I remember my Momma getting a phone call from Miss Pat at the Hardin Memorial Hospital many years ago. Terri was riding my sister Kelly on her bicycle handlebars and hit a pothole in the road and busted her chin open. She had already taken Kelly to the hospital and had her fixed up by the time Momma had gotten there! Cherish the memories you have. They can never be taken away from you. Love you all!

My heart goes out to Pat's family. She was the best dispatcher for HCSO for many years. My dad, Jessie thought she hung the moon! Even after he retired, he would make a special effort to see her. Charlie and Pat was a great couple. She would go beyond the call of duty to help anybody. Rest in peace, Pat. You have your hands full now trying to get everyone in heaven on the right page! Love and most respect from the Cartwright's. Brenda

As a young cop in the 1980's, I was so blessed to cut my teeth being dispatched by Mrs. Pat. She loved and cared for all of the officers so much. Folks who know me know I tend to talk pretty fast. One morning I got pretty excited while talking on the radio and Mrs. Pat replied over the air, " 206, did you gargle with WD-40 this morning or what"?
We love you so much and speaking for all the officers in our county, you will be missed. Godspeed.
