We are so sad that Lester has passed away. He was a good friend and brother-in-law. We could not have asked for a better uncle for our girls. They both loved him so much. We have so many happy memories of him, from dancing and acting silly with our girls, to the great meals that he loved to cook. He loved to help people, even those that he did not know. We know that he is in heaven with his precious mother. We will miss him.

We have known Lester since 1960, he was Phyllis' brother in law then. Lester always had a smile on his face. We were in and out of contact with him through the years but visited him often during his last few years, WE WILL MISS HIM DEARLY. Lester had an experience with Jesus a couple of years ago and was always seeking him in prayer. We'll see you again Lester.

This song by Mercy Me reminds me of Unk.
"In You"
I put my hope in You
I lay my life in palm of your hand
I'm constantly drawn to You Lord
In ways I cannot comprehend

It's the Creator calling the created
The Maker beckoning the made
The bride finding what she's always waited for
When we find ourselves that day

In You where the hungry feast at the table
The blind frozen by colors in view
The lame will dance, They'll dance for they are able
And the weary find rest
Oh the weary find rest in You

It's no secret that we don't belong here
Those set apart by the grace of You
And we look for the day when we go to a place
Where the old becomes brand new

I love you Uncle Lester your niece Dana

I met Lester when he lived in Wildwood area and I like him, he always treated me good. I thought s lot of Lester. I know things went down hill for a while, but he was a fine guy. My prayers go put to his family.
