We are so sad to hear of Harold's passing. He was a wonderful man and we loved hearing his stories. We are praying for peace and comfort for you and your family. Love to you all.

So sorry for your loss. Have good memories of attending the reunion that was held at your lovely home several times.

My grandmother was Mary Alice (Gant) Bean. My dad was Willie Bean. He and Harold' dad were first cousins. The last time I saw Harold he told me, "You look like your mom". My mom was Eloise (Smith) Bean.

Another time my brother (Tom Bean) and I took Dad to Brookshire Bros. While we were there we ran into Harold and his wife. They had a visit in the store.

You just know that Harold, my dad and my brother are having a reunion right now.

I am very sorry to hear about Mr.Gant. I've prayed for him & his family everyday since Saturday. I now keep his family in prayer thru this heartbreaking time.

After 42 years at Texaco Port Arthur, the top ten names I think of, Harold is one of them.. He was tough but fare, I really like him. God bless this Family...RIP. Harold..

I am so sorry for your loss. Dorthy is my mom. My husband died from that awful disease also, so you have been in my prayers. A friend sent this to me and it has brought much comfort. "DEATH leaves a heartache no one can heal, LOVE leaves a memory no one can steal" author unknown. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

When I think of Harold I think of the Gant family - I think of Bill - his dad and all the times my dad and Bill visited, shared life. Like the Beans - the Gant family is a pioneer family and has long established ties to Texas. Daddy always enjoyed visiting with Harold - walking in his garden and remembering when. Barbara was her charming self and made us all feel at home. Not everyone has family like that. Heck, most don't now a days. It is a tribute to Harold - the number of people who cared, who searched for him. Prayers are needed more than ever and prayers the family has. God Bless!
