Joseph Abshire, Jr.

Jeremiah Bullfrog (as Abshire would say) here. I shed tears of joy when I heard the news of my dear friend passing. My heart is overwhelmed and overjoyed trying to type this now but my heart hurts in loosing him on this earth and I know his family and precious wife, Sis. Abshire feel more than can be explained. But, I am heartened-this is what my friend talked about his entire life! He has looked forward to this for years and is doubtless doing more praising than he ever thought possible! A true man of God with a servant's heart. Until we meet again 'mom frere'!! Le vrai nom de Dieu est Jésus!!!

Sister Abshire, JoBear, Susan and Robert, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful blessing to many many people. And so funny! ...I still remember the first time ya'll came to our house in Moss Bluff....I think we stayed up half the night laughing. As Proverbs says: A merry heart does good, like medicine...I cannot thank God enough for the joy he brought to our family.

We have such good memories of our times with ya'll when you were in Ms. Bro. Abshire will be missed. Let us know if we can do anything do anything for you. Love you.

Joseph Abshire Jr Family......So sorry to here about your loss. Jr and i studied Shotokan Karate many years ago at Lake Charles Karate together. He was one of the nicest people that i ever had the pleasure of meeting, always happy, funny and an absolute delight to be around. I am sorry that we lost connection. He was a wonderful example for his spiritual beliefs and one of those people that i am very glad crossed my path in life....Alain Newman
