I have many fond memories of the time I spent in Beaumont growing up next to the Heberts (A-Bears). We lived right next door to them and whenever they BBQ'd something I always got a plate to eat. Lillian and Clarence definitely fueled my lifelong love of spicy food.

Unfortunately I was unable to get a flight back to Texas for the service, but my thoughts are definitely with Lillian and David.

Clarence will be missed.

My love, compassion and prayers are with you Aunt Tede, David, and Sissy. Though you've lost sight of your Husband and Father...he's about His Father's work... yet ever with you in Spirit, just a prayer away.
May you each remember, how perfectly Our Heavenly Father loves us, and longs for us to be as close to one another in Heaven as was here on earth...a Family again. He yearns for the Family eternal circle to be complete.

I have good memories of Clarence A-Bear, at GSU and the Relay/Communication department days. Loved his humor and still have the 'southern lady' housewarming doll that he and Mrs. Hebert gave me. He was a special co-worker. Prayers for the family during this most difficult of times.

Very sorry to see this. Clarence was one of the good guys. Always something funny to say and usually one of the first to acknowledge a friend in the crowd. I can still see his face light up the moment he recognized you.. He and Lillian will always be special people in my memory. Rest in peace Clarence.

It was truly great to see Abear at the Entergy fish fry recently. I know that he has been someone very important to Jim when he worked for him at Entergy aka GSU. A gentle soul and great man. I know he will be missed not only by Jim and myself but by all that knew him. Our prayers go out to you, Lillian as well as the rest of his family. God Bless you all.
