My heart is broken for this sweet family. Brenda touched my life in a positive way and I was very privileged to have known her. She's been set free and as a sister in Christ I will see her again. Heartfelt sympathies to all the family members. Prayers for peace and healing.

Dear Flournoy and Sparks Families,
I am so saddened at your loss. I know your families will long feel the loss of someone so special to each of you and the hundreds of lives she has influenced. I first remember "Miss Brenda" as we called her at First Baptist Stowell, when we would all squabble over who would get to give her, her shoes back after she would finish playing the organ after church. I have known her as our organist, a friend and then as a fellow teacher. She always had a big heart for everyone she knew and she will be missed by all! By the testimony of her family members, she has not only been one who "showed others how to live"; but she also showed us "how to face our home-going with a peace and assurance of where she was going"! She will be awaiting us when we one day get to see her beautiful smile again! May God's presence be real to each one of you, in the days ahead! In His Love,
Thelma Smith

Such an amazing woman and teacher. Defiantly left an impact on my life from a young age, and I carry the lessons that she taught me as a kindergartener to my senior year God high school
