Our dear friend, Naomi, will live in our hearts for the lovely, gentle and always stylish lady with a winning smile and personality and the most beautiful shoes one ever laid eyes on! And, I know a host of friends and relations await her on the other side.

Mrs. Haynes was one of the "grand" ladies of Gulf States Utilities Company. Working around her was a very unique experience and provided delightful memories I still recall.
My deepest sympathies to the family members.

Mrs. Haynes was one of the first employees that I met on my very first day at GSU in 1972. She was a kind, gracious, and professional person that day and remained that way for the many years I worked for the company. She was a true lady.

I went to work for GSU in the Production Dept in 1971. No one who worked there will forget Naomi! Great lady.

Having worked with Mrs. Haynes at Gulf States Utilities and having reunited with her at Calder Woods, she was the same refined person I had known years before. It was my pleasure to have known such a truly genuine and graceful lady. My sympathies to Naomi's wonderful nieces and their families.

Many years ago during an office Birthday party in her honor, Naomi honestly said, "The older I get, the maintenance takes longer and longer and longer...." A truly beautiful Lady, inside and out.

Naomi was one of those employees at Gulf States Utilities who did her job quietly and without fanfare. Her office was impeccable, desk orderly, with a box of chocolates, open, to be offered as appointments or simply drop-bys arrived. She was every bit as lovely as her picture here, loved, respected and admired by everyone, family, fellow employees, and visitors alike.
Sincere thanks to members of her family for your love and care, and sympathy in Naomi's passing.
Naomi, you have been a joy to know.
