I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of one of the best, 'shining' members of our BHS Class of '63. Susan, you will always be missed dearly by all who knew you. Go gently to your reward.

Susan, you were sunlight and cheer wherever you happened to be. Our parents were best friends and you came along with them and Jimmy to make the world a better place. Those closest to you all know you are in a wonderful place, but tears will fall for awhile. It was good to know you.

Everyone loved Susan, me included. Such a great lady and friend! What a joy she brought with her where ever she went. I am a better person because of "Ms. Wonderful"!

I had the honor of working with Susan for many years when she was the Director of the Auto Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority. We spent many days together dealing with the Legislature and bickering with state agencies.

She always had a way of lighting up a room with her comments, laughter and even a dance once in a while - LOL. She never met a stranger!

Our prayers to Fred and her entire family. She was a true friend to everyone with the ABTPA and the Tx. Assoc. of Vehicle Theft Investigators.

She will be missed, however I am sure her spirit will visit us all on a regular basis...

Respectfully,
Lt. Tommy Hansen
Galveston County Sheriff's Office

When I moved to Austin, Susan was already here and I was so glad to know somebody, especially her. She, as always, was so much fun to be with. She loved life and the people she knew in it. She and I had lunch about once a month for many years and I will miss that terribly.. Between personal visits, we talked on the phone when one or both of us needed each other. I will miss her so much. Susan, if you can hear me, I loved you like a sister and will keep your spirit forever.
