Bernice "Bunny" Anne Underwood

After Lisa died my mother, Martha Brazil and I had many lunches together when I came to Lufkin to visit. We laughed and had many good times. Mrs. U was one of the most generous persons I have ever known.

Bunny was a wonderful friend and we had lots of fun together in high school at BHS.Class of 53 and then at Southwestern University where we shared many college escapades which will go on to Heaven with Bunny!..Then after we all married she and Al. T..continued to be our close friends. In fact she and A.T. were our first child's God parents. I loved to hear her laugh and she did it a lot..The last part of her life was sad because she was alone but her dear friend Verdie was there for so much of the time.Only distance and old age kept Bunny and me apart in the last few years but we talked on the phone..I am going to miss her but she will be with her family and that will make her very happy..Rest in peace my good friend. So sorry to hear of Bunny's passing. Of all my mother's (Cynthia Smith) friends Bunny was the most fun to have visit us. I know she will be missed.
