Mama, I know you tried your best to hold on, only to be with us. As your days grow closer to God, I could feel you wanting to leave us. I know you was scared to go, but when you saw the golden streets and the rest of your family, you was assured it was ok to leave us here.. I really wish that you could come back, but I know you feel much better. I know you love your beautiful healthy body.. I miss you already.. Even though it really hurt, I find peace and comfort to know your ok.. Love you so!! Yvonne

Where can I begin? I'm gonna miss you mama. If love could have kept you here, it would have been for an eternity! You were my best friend, my confidante, my earthly compass that guided me thus far. You taught me so much even if I didn't recognize it. I will miss our daily gossips and your reminiscing of days gone by. I will teach my children all you taught me and we will make you proud! Until we meet again... Your "Cookie"

I have always considered Rena as my aunt rather than my cousin's aunt. She was my neighbor after she married and I would visit everyday when John Avery was born. We have shared so many memories over the years.Would see her quite often before moving to Houston area and it was always a pleasure to see her. We could talk for hours!!! To John,Cookie,Robert, Yvonne and Yvette remember how many years you had to share with your mom.Memories last forever and you have manny, many good ones to look back on. My family and I send love, peace and God's unchanging hand to get you through this difficult time.Praying for you, Veronica

Loved me some "Miss Rena". She was my babysitter and my mom's best friend. So glad to have a great memory of when we spoke at my mom's 95th birthday celebration. She told me how proud she was of me and reminisced of how say made home-made ice cream just for me. What a blessing to have her impact my live. John, Robert, Cookie, Yvette, and Yvonne rest assure that God has another beautiful flower in his garden. It brings me comfort to know that my mom has her friend with her heaven. Trust God and cherish the great memories.

To the family or Mrs. Rena Wesley, I am so sorry to hear of your lost. I am praying God's strength will be with you and your family. Although words alone are not enough to take away your grief, may caring thoughts and sincere concern help bring your hearts relief. May God continue to bless and keep all of you in his care.
