Dear Kelley, Kasey and Billy, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. I did not know of Judy's cancer struggle until after her death. Judy was so kind to me, which was appreciated very much. The friendship she and Pete kept, being together for your events and birthdays, was amazing. You are so blessed to have been so unconditionally loved by both parents, with them always putting your needs before their own. Know they are both with our Lord, watching over you. I love each of you very much. Candy Carr Howell

We were just getting to know Judy when fate intervened. Will miss her smile and optimism. She was looking forward to writing a series of children’s books, her ‘Ruby’ books. Judy showed grace and dignity to the very end. from the members of Writers by the Lake, Montgomery, Texas

I still remember that beautiful smile from our days at Caldwood Elementary in Beaumont (many years back). We compared many Speech Therapist stories, and a lot of laughter. To all of Judy's family, I am so sorry that you have lost such a wonderful part of your family. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. Bonnie Durr

I'm so heartbroken to have lost Judy. We graduated from high school together, raised kids, and worked together. I'll always remember her beautiful smile. Judy touched so many lives and she'll be greatly missed. My prayers are with her family.

Judy always a had the sweetest smile and attitude. I will always remember her playing horseshoes at our Region 5 play day....a great competitor..... She and Jack Gatewood were a dynamite team! Judy was a dedicated teacher who put the students needs as a top priority! I will miss her so much!

Judy's Family: So sorry to learn of her passing.
Met your mom at Wesley United Methodist when she visited with her mom and dad, Chris & Doc. She was a sweet and loving person that cared for her family deeply. Judy was also so loved by your grandparents, Billy & Barbara Elliott. She was the apple of Billy's eyes.
God be with each of you and know that your mom is no longer in pain and reunited with her loved ones.
Eileen Tindall.
