I have such fond memories of Mrs. Romig from all the years of attending living in China. She was a member of the same church and such a lovely person. I will always remember going to Benoit's Grocery and seeing her there. She always had a lot to say and made it fun to go to the grocery store. Our thoughts and prayers to all the wonderful members of her family.

Mom - you were loved and missed dearly now that you have gone to be with Dad. Everyone misses your smile!! Loved you so much as you were the best mother a person could have

What a blessing to have such a sweet woman in your family and for such a long time. I really enjoyed viewing all the pictures and learning more about Mrs. Romig, My friend and I used to go to Benoit's Grocery, get an ice cold watermellon, take it home and each eat half. Going to church with this couple brings back good memories so I join you all in knowing she had a good life and now resting in peace with Jesus.

Keith and family,
God rest her soul and comfort all who loved her.
You have all been like family to us and we love you. Your Mom and Dad were like our class parents and I enjoyed traveling with them from game to game, especially regional and state! We have years of memories. Sending you love and prayers.

I will miss her wit, wisdom, conversation, laugh, and smile. She & Uncle Al were a pleasure to visit with.

I so remember how Aunt Lilith and my daddy (Floyd Hunter) had such a lovely sibling relationship. He loved stopping in Benoit’s on his way from work in Nome to visit with her and Uncle Al. When he was ill, we could count on her visitation. I especially remember her laugh which was so unique and contagious. She will be greatly missed but will be more greatly remembered. Have a blessed eternity, “Aunt Bob.”

I will always remember riding my bicycle the 5 miles from Nome to China, going into Benoits Grocery, and Uncle Al making me a sandwich. A lot of times, I would spend the night at the Romigs, play a little baseball with Keith, swim at the Benoits, and go home the next day. Aunt Lilith was always smiling, and great fun to visit. I will miss her and her sunny smile. I know she will rest in peace. We were blessed to have her.
